On the Custom Patch Manager main page Click the link called "Collect Configuration" 6. Click on "cpm_collect.sh" to download cpm_collect.sh to a temporary directory. Leave the browser open. ./cpm_collect.sh # cpm_collect.sh version: A.03.05 7. Open a terminal, type sudu ksh and cd to the downloaded file. 8. Type ./cpm_collect.sh --> answer yes to creating a file called /tmp/net-9.fs Put the files on the server ----------------------------- 9. cd /tmp/ 10. ftp us-support2.external.hp.com, log-in user=CA428726, passwd=support2 11. binary 12. cd incoming delete net-9.fs 12. put net-9.fs 13. quit, Choose the patches for the system: ----------------------------------- 16. Go back to the web page, scroll down to "Display Candidate Patch List" and click "Patch Analysis" 17. Click the toggle button next to the "Config file" for the system in question. 18. Click the button labeled "Display Candidate Patch List" We need to cross reference all patches with those in the Y2K bundle, and add the ones that are not listed We did not do this , but we could have selected the "Add" button at the bottom of the list.] 20.
